You can get dental crowns fashioned from a wide variety of materials–palladium and gold are just two of many. I mix these materials together during your appointment with me at my office in Haddon Township, for no other reason than that you will be able to decide which one will work best for you. At my practice in Haddon Township, each crown is tailor-made, because every person has different needs. I carefully examine your tooth. Is it pointed? Does the chip still exist, and does the size of it dwarf the rest of the tooth? Have you sustained a crack or break that cut clean across the tooth?

I then make a record of all the statistics and make a replica of the tooth's shape. These statistics are then forwarded to the dental technician–who is a master craftsman, who produces dental crowns that fit unbelievably.

As we begin the process of afixing a crown made from valuable metal, I may be required to do away with just a tad of enamel–the external jacket of your tooth. If instead you have decided for a non-metallic Haddon Township dental crown, we may be required to grind down the tooth until we hit the dentine area.

Of course, previous to any work being done, we always spend a great deal of time talking about all the risks and benefits. Subsequently, once all the cards have been laid on the table, the final decision is left to you.

Previous to receiving a permanent crown, we'll put in one that is temporary. I do this because I want to make absolutely sure that your teeth won't be giving you difficulty with sensitivity. As soon as my technicians have completed the real crown, we weigh it against the general tint of the rest of your teeth. Also, I will be asking that you act like you're chewing food, so I am able to determine if the technician made the crown properly.

When we know that everything is perfect, then I'll polish everything up, and you can go out and whoop it up.
